The porch is going up

We started to build the West porch and we just about have it all framed and sheeted in, just the tin to go up now and finish the west gable wall. Then we will be starting on the North wall of the second story this will be a very interesting project as it will be an over hang. This is to give more room for the upstairs as we have now added a large school room that will also have the computer and library in it as my wife’s books are taking over the house.

    Wow, that looks like a big project. We added a porch this last spring that was 37 x 11 and I thought that was big. But you’re adding a second story too. You’re going to love it!
